Seated Harp Player from 4700 years ago

From 4,700 years ago comes this sophisticated, slightly abstract marble sculpture of seated man playing harp, & maybe singing. It was originally painted, & is one of the earliest-known depictions of musicians (Cyclades Islands). In The Met Museum, New York City.

That is awesome. The Cyclades is where we went for Mary’s Goddess Retreat 3 years ago–to the island of Tinos.
just one more affirmation for our choice of the HARP to represent the healing arts. Love your photo of Tinos on FB
