Eve Mills Allen is a mental health therapist in Moncton, New Brunswick, with an MA in Creative Writing and an MEd in CounsellingPsychology. She has over 30 years of experience as a journalist, writer for APTN TV shows, and educator, leading life writing andtherapeutic workshops—primarily in First Nations communities. A member of the Moncton Writers’ Group and NB Federation of Writers, Eve, has won multiple short story awards, including third place in the Canadian Authors Association prize for narrativenonfiction.
Jeremias Tecú is a New Brunswick-based storyteller and community activist as well as a survivor of the Guatemalan civil war duringwhich his two brothers disappeared. After starting a new life in New Brunswick, Canada, Tecú became a settlement worker at theMulticultural Association of Fredericton, aiding newcomers with their acclimatization.
